One of the unusual days

Its a monday morning. I see a lot of hassle in the office. People around are trying to catch up with a lot of work. Being a trainee, I do have a lot of time to sit and write while others are busy. Moreover people around me hardly understand what blogging is.

Over the last week I happened to meet a few seniors (2-7 years) to try and understand their career path. I met a few consultants, Managers, Analysts & Associates. All had a different perception of their roles. Some thought themselves to be fire fighters, some were cordinators, some were gyaan gurus, leaders etc. It was a bit suprizing for me to see that only a few people had added real value over the years. The consultants had a good understanding of how to make theoritical concepts applicable. Managers had learnt the ground realities very well over the years. My conclusion to the above observation would be that rather than experienced, fresh scholars from the campus can be the right pick for buiilding competency. They have the potential to make theories aplicable. The value that an experienced guy would add, may already be there with the organization seeking problem solving.

Enough gyaan for the day. Need to prepare for a meeting. Catch up again soon.
