People I Met

MBA is over. Heading to my 2nd stint at the corporate life. And am going to talk about a few people now that I have met in this year. I wont say name, and let them burn with in.

Type 1: Committed and Basterdy.
They say they already have a girl friend/ boy friend, and advertise it to most folks on day 1. And still they want to lay their hand on the good looking girl/guy in campus. They promise a treat if the girl/guy proposed to him. Be true to at least yourself. (Proud of the girl here, she is smart, but not enough yet)

Type 2: The CV Point seekers
They just live their life for a CV point. They disgust me. I hate talking about them. People who don’t want to help their teammates, and people who have deadlines every time you setup a meeting, and people who sleep early in the night when there is work.

Type 3: The Drunken Morons
Simple, they drink and misbehave. I wish I slapped him during Prerana party. Would have done if I knew what had happened on time.

Type 4: The Geniuses
They inspire you with all the work they do. They are a class apart from it

Type 5: The Good People
You like them, their work ethics, and you become friends with them. You watch all your movies with them, eat your food with them and spend most of your time with them.

Type 6: And me
Stupid, emotional, Kaam Chor, useless guy, the SCM guy, restless guy, the soon to be bald man, the "you-need-to-get-a-girl-friend" branded guy. Oh that list is even longer, can't really recollect.

"Hows Job going ?"

Since college is over and job has started, every alternate guy is up with the same question : "Hows Job going ?"

For all those queries, here's the answer

Get up at 7:30 am with a huge yawn. I don't need an alarm, as the bulldozer for construction invariable starts dismantling the badminton court behind my hostel at 7:30 am. Then look into the mirror and feel you have grown 12 hours older. Get ready for yet another troubling day. Get down to the hostel mess and pray each day that he would have made Aloo Parantha for breakfast. Eat in a hurried manner and then catch an auto from the hostel road. Everyday make sure that you have 30 bugs change for the autowala or else it might be troublesome. I start work at around 8:50. by the time its 11:00 I usually have a yawn. Get up from my desk and look for someone who can have coffee. Spend 15 mins chit chatting and come back to desk. Having just started the job I need to seek time from other people a lot. After the coffee my chase for people begins. Drop a couple of mails requesting for a meeting. Call up few people from whom data is required and explain my requirements. It is 1:30 pm in no time. Go down with colleagues to the cafeteria for lunch. Its an awesome place. The ambiance and the food, both are very good. I usually have a heavy lunch since I usually don't have anything in between till dinner.

Post lunch my laziness quotient goes up. I feel like washing my face by four. I usually spend 10-15 mins in the loo and roaming around at about 4:00 pm. My most effective working time is 5:00-7:00 pm. Its not because that I have a heavy lunch and then get lazy in between; but because it is the time when people hear to me and give me time.

At around 7:00 I am off from office. Usually post office I spend an hour for my health. I walk or jog as per my mood that day with earphones filling radio stations in my ears. Post that get together with some friends, kill some time on the name of recreation and then sleep. Phone calls also eat an hour or so these days surprisingly.

thats it! Mango life....(aam jindegi)...
